The school hurlers had a successful campaign winning the Division 1 Cumann na mBunscol. The team beat Ratoath by one point in a thrilling final on Saturday, June 17th. The game went to extra time and the boys on the team never gave up. Joint captains Seanie Henry and Jamie Massey lifted the trophy for the school. Afterwards, the team enjoyed a celebratory ice cream at Bosca Marcies. Last Wednesday they were treated to a pizza party to mark their achievement and present them with their medals. The whole school are immensely proud of what the team have achieved. We hope they achieve success again in the future! Thank You to Mr. Dwane and Mr. Mac Suibhne for training and managing the team.

George Golds and Charlie Battersby from 6th class represented St. Michael's N.S. on the Cumann na mBunscol Exhibition team in Croke Park on Sunday 25th June. The team played at the half time interval in the Tailteann Cup game between Meath and Antrim. George wore the green and yellow jersey representing Meath, while Charlie was the man in the middle taking charge as referee. Well done to both pupils!
