Ms. Murphy's Class

We studied Sound this year for Science Week. Sound is a series of vibrations . It can travel through solids, liquids and gases but not through a vacuum. We experimented with glass bottles of water to make music. We changed the pitch by putting different amounts of water in them. We tapped the bottles with our pencils to make tunes. The winning team received homework passes.

Ms. Forde's 4th class studied and experimented with different types of lines to create these sun drawings. They also had to show an understanding of warm and cool colours whilst colouring their designs.

 

 

6/10/16                                                  Ms. Murphy's class

Pupils in Ms. Murphy's class have been busy producing creative writing pieces on the theme of monsters. When this work was completed they created their monsters in art class. Here they are!

 

 

They also created symmetrical patterns using their names.
